Abstract:

The ICAO Assembly adopted the "Conve ntion on the International Recognition of Rights in AIRCRAFT" in 1948. The convention is unique of its, kind and continues to distil certain concise principles in one of the most complex areas of law. This article studies the Convention and concludes that it did not succeed in uniformly regulating real right and the nature of guaranteed rights in AIRCRAFT.It confined itself to recognizing them, to providing some publicity for registration of preferential order among the different claims and the international condition of sale in execution of the AIRCRAFT. 0:09

Abstract:

In the present paper, an efficient method for three dimensional AIRCRAFT pattern recognition is introduced. In this method, a set of simple area based features extracted from silhouette of aerial vehicles are used to recognize an AIRCRAFT type from its optical or infrared images taken by a CCD camera or a FLIR sensor. These images can be taken from any direction and distance relative to the flying AIRCRAFT. A multilayer perceptron neural network has been used for the purpose of AIRCRAFT classification. The network training has been carried out using a library of images generated by a 3D model of each AIRCRAFT. The neural network is successfully trained and used to recognize and classify arbitrary real AIRCRAFT images. The results show more than 90% accuracy in ideal conditions and very good robustness in the presence of noise.

Abstract:

Concerns about AIRCRAFT gust disturbance have increased not only because of the design cases that are not primarily structural but also because of gust influence on AIRCRAFT handling qualities and flight controllability. Load alleviation system duty is reducing loads caused by a gust on AIRCRAFT. Using active control when crossing gust causes alleviation of loads on AIRCRAFT and improves ride quality. In this paper gust response of a flexible AIRCRAFT has been simulated by using the Lagrange equation and quasi-steady aerodynamics. Wing has been considered as flexible and other parts have been considered rigid. Two degrees of freedom in pitch and plunge of rigid mode have been considered and the elastic wing has been modeled as a beam with torsion and bending. Gust responses with different profiles have been analyzed. Then by using elevators and aileron gust loads have been reduced. Feedback control has been used to decrease the pitch and heave acceleration of the AIRCRAFT. Closed and open-loop response to gust has been compared and it has been shown that pitch oscillations have been damped very well by elevator. Then by using elevators and flaperon gust loads have been reduced by using neural networks adaptive controller and classic controller. Comparison has been made between closed-loop and open loop response to gust.

Abstract:

The AIRCRAFT Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) has always played a key role in the aviation industry which is responsible for restoring AIRCRAFT to flight conditions based on a set of technical instructions and implementation of repair processes. According to research’ s, the most important reasons why airlines choose MRO centers to provide services are quality, turnaround time (TAT), and cost, respectively. In Iran, due to the status of the airline fleet and the number of available AIRCRAFT, reducing the service time has a higher priority than other options. In this research paper, the application of lean, its principles and techniques and in particular the study of its compatibility and effectiveness in order to reduce Turn Around Time (TAT) in the AIRCRAFT repair and overhaul industry has been considered. Accordingly, at the beginning and after the comprehensive review and analysis of the literature, the subject of a comprehensive list of principles of lean production has been studied and the indicators have been considered according to the characteristics of the AIRCRAFT repair and overhaul industry. Then, based on the obtained indicators, a questionnaire was prepared and based on it, more than 25 hours of interviews with experts, including deputies, managers and experts of the AIRCRAFT repair and overhaul industry in the case study were conducted. Based on the Yin analysis method (2003), the data of the questionnaire were analyzed and evaluated in order to identify the influential factors of service time during the AIRCRAFT maintenance check. Based on the research findings, the existence of defects in some areas, such as the lack of inventory management and alternative planning for serviceable components have created significant effects in increasing the service time of AIRCRAFT.

Abstract:

AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEMS ARE COMPLEX SYSTEMS ANDTHE FUEL AS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE SYSTEM NEEDS SOME SAFE SUBSYSTEMS IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE FUEL PRESSURE AND OXYGEN PERCENTAGE IN THE SAFE RANGE. THE PRESSURE AND FLAMMABILITY OF FUEL MAY CAUSE DANGEROUS SITUATION FOR AN AIRCRAFT. THE STRUCTURAL LIMITS OF THE FUEL TANKS MAKES THE DESIGNER TO PREPARE SOME FACILITIES TO LEVEL VAPOR FUEL PRESSURE IN THE TANKS, THIS IS DONE BY VENTING SYSTEM. FURTHERMORE THE FUEL FLAMMABILITYOBLIGATES THE DESIGNER TO LEVEL OXYGEN PERCENTAGE VIA VENTING AND INERTING. IN ORDER TO DESIGN A SAFE AND RELIABLE FUEL SYSTEM, THERE SHOULD BE FACILITIES PREVENTING ANY DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE AND IGNITION IN THE FUEL SYSTEM AND TANKS. THE PRESSURE BETWEEN THE TANKS AND EACH TANK WITH ATMOSPHERE IS ADJUSTED VIA VENTING SYSTEM. THE VENTING IS DONE BY TRANSFERRING FUEL VAPOR TO THE SURGE TANKS WHICH ARE RELATED TO ATMOSPHERE THROUGH NACA DUCT. IN SOME PHASES SUCH AS CRUISE, AN OPEN VENTING SYSTEM CAN MAINTAIN OXYGEN PERCENTAGE IN THE FUEL VAPOR IN A SAFE MARGIN IN ORDER TO PREVENT IGNITION IN THE TANKS, YET IT IS NOT SATISFIED IN ALL PHASES OF FLIGHT. A NOBLE SYSTEM PRESENTED FOR THIS AIM IS INERTING SYSTEM IN WHICH BY REDUCING AND CONTROLLING OXYGEN PERCENTAGE IN A TANK, ANY FLAME POSSIBILITY IS PROHIBITED. THE INERTING SYSTEM CONTROLS THE FUEL VAPOR OXYGEN PERCENTAGE. THIS IS DONE BY DISCHARGING NITROGEN ENRICHED AIR IN THE FUEL TANKS. IN THIS PAPER IT IS TRIED TO DESCRIBE THE ROLE AND IMPORTANCE OF THESE SYSTEM AND STANDARDS LEAD TO UTILIZING THESE SYSTEMS IN A CIVIL AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM. ALSO IT IS TRIED TO PRESENT THE FUEL SYSTEM DESIGNED BY THE WRITERS USING VENTING AND INERTING IN THE TANKS.

Abstract:

In international transport, it has always been a matter of prime importance for an AIRCRAFT to enjoy the protection of the state to which it belongs. While, on the other hand the interests of third parties have also been furthered through this link between a state and AIRCRAFT flying its flag. AIRCRAFT have the nationality of the state in which they are registered. Every AIRCRAFT engaged in international air navigation shall bear its appropriate nationality and registration and registration marks. How has the concept of nationality evolved in public air law? Which law applies to the registration or transfer of registration of an AIRCRAFT? This article compares the registration rules in three states: Iran, United Kingdom and Canada.
